Deborah Enos thought she was an ultra “healthy” individual when she was diagnosed with breast cancer. As a certified nutritionist who grew up on a farm and ate an organic diet, getting cancer was not on her radar. But a few years ago, she suddenly went from running marathons to huddling up with romance novels while she fought cancer.

Deborah Enos is the host of the Why Did I Get Cancer Podcast and this is an interview that I’ve been wanting to have since she had me on her show to talk about the toxins that lead to cancer.

Deborah did all the right things to prevent getting cancer. She was a certified health coach, nutritionist & wellness speaker and thought she’d be the last person to be diagnosed with breast cancer. After fighting her cancer, Deborah made it her mission to find the experts to help her figure out why she got cancer in the first place.

I’ve binged every single episode of her “Why did I Get Cancer?” podcast because Deborah brings on experts that are talking about the things you won’t hear about in main stream media, but they are the things people should hear BEFORE they get a cancer diagnosis.

We dive in to the reason why breast cancer awareness month isn’t breast cancer prevention month, how cancer effects relationships deeply, and the guest conversations that have impacted her (and me!) the most.

In this Episode, we talk about:

  • What led to Deborah starting her podcast “Why Did I Get Cancer?”

  • The impact of trauma and unresolved emotions

  • The link between root canals and cancer

  • The importance of forgiveness and finding peace

  • What Deborahs guests have taught her the most about why she got cancer
