The ceramic nonstick options featured here are described by their brands as PFAS-free, but the coating can wear over time. Use nonmetal utensils, avoid abrasive scrubbers, and follow the manufacturer’s care instructions. Replace the pot if the surface is visibly chipping, peeling, or flaking, because once that happens it will need to be replaced.
