The Best Organic Clothing Basics: Everyday Essentials, Loungewear & Socks

clothing basics

a note from Wendy

Even the cleanest clothing brands still need a small amount of stretch to make pieces functional-especially for things like waistbands and activewear, so some minimal synthetic fibers are often used.  Stores like the GAP and online brands like Organic Basics have lines that are made of organic cotton and are very reasonably priced.

START WITH THE BASICS

my fave!

Pact isn't in the top spot because they are the absolute best, but because they have one of the widest sections available, from basics to underwear, loungewear, etc.. AND everything is made with GOTS-certified organic cotton, fair trade certified, plastic free packaging.  What sets Pact apart is their accessibility. Their pricing is far more approachable than other brands, they run frequent sales and now that they're available on amazon, they are the one stop shop,  convenient option for people who are trying to make better swaps.
