My first choice is always safe, botanical, synthetic free perfumes that do not contain alcohol denat. My second choice are options that use some nature identical synthetic molecules in addition to botanicals.
Because there are only a handful 100% botanical options on the market, I have also included options that do use alcohol denat and those that use “saf-er synthetic” options at popular request.
While "safe-er" synthetics don't include well known hormone disruptors like phthalates, parabens, lilial or musk ambrette, they do contain synthetic fragrance ingredients that don't have current safety data, are derived from petroleum and their impact on our health is virtually unknown.
Introducing the first ever organic, regeneratively sourced 100% botanical fine fragrance. Working on this project was a labor of love and I can't wait to put it out in to the world.

ESAS has perfect balance of long lasting scents with zero synthetics or toxins. They use organic sugarcane alcohol as a base. With all the essential oils like Neroli, Bergamot and Ylang Ylang, Neroli Blossom stole my California girl heart.
While botanical based perfume is the cleanest option, I understand that some people want a synthetic option that is safe-er than conventional. While we don’t have a lot of safety data on newer safe synthetic molecules, DIME stands above the rest because they use organic alcohol that is not denatured, making it just a little bit clean-er than the others. It's also conveniently found at Ulta.
